Membership in the CSFFA has its privileges: You can propose eligible works, nominate and vote on the awards. You can also help shape the Awards by voting on proposals for change. All of that for a modest $10 per year.
Memberships for 2026 are now closed. Memberships for 2027 will be available in December 2026.

Our calendar of activities for the 2026 Aurora Awards
- November-February: Aurora Awards Eligibility gathering period – Members can bring eligible creators and works to our attention so that they can be included in the eligibility list.
- Eligibility lists closed on February 21
- March-April: Aurora Awards Nomination period – Members can select creators and works from the eligibility list and nominate them for the Aurora Awards categories
- Nominations closed on April 4
- May-June: CSFFA Annual General Meeting – Members vote on the administration of the Association.
- Voting on AGM motions closed on May 31.
- The Annual General Meeting took place on June 2.
- June-July: Aurora Awards Voting period – Members can vote for the creators and works shortlisted during the nomination period. Announcement of the CSFFA Hall of Fame Inductees.
- The 2026 CSFFA Hall of Fame Inductees were announced on July 1.
- Purchasing a CSFFA membership for 2026 closed on July 11.
- Voting closed on July 18.
- August: Aurora Awards ceremony – Winning creators and works will be revealed during the online Aurora Awards ceremony on Sunday, August 9th, live-streamed on YouTube and LinkedIn
