Founded in 2014 to celebrate the best Canadian writers, editors, publishers, artists, musicians, scientists, organizers, and fans who have, over the decades, made a significant contribution to the genres of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, the CSFFA Hall of Fame is Canada’s highest SFFH honour. Inductees receive a plaque and have their names engraved on the permanent trophy, which has been frequently displayed at conventions and other events across Canada.
Starting in 1980, with A. E. Van Vogt, CSFFA began recognizing Canadian creatives by giving Lifetime Achievement Awards, and the Hall of Fame grew out of this tradition and brought those so honoured into the Hall.
We wish to thank the 2026 CSFFA Hall of Fame jury for their work: JM Landels; Y.M. Pang; Clifford Samuels (HoF 2023); Edo van Belkom; and the jury chair, David Clink.
We would like to take this moment to thank all the nominees. Those who were not selected will remain nominees for future years.
