2015 Aurora Awards
The 2015 Aurora Awards ceremony was held in Toronto, Ontario on November 22nd in conjunction with SFContario 6
The Winners
This year’s Aurora award for Best English Novel went to A Play of Shadow by Julie E. Czerneda published by DAW books.
There was a tie for this year’s Best English Young Adult Novel award. The winners are Lockstep by Karl Schroeder published by Tor books and Out of This World by Charles de Lint published by Razorbill Canada.
Eric Choi won for Best Short Fiction for his story, “Crimson Sky”, published in the July/August issue of Analog magazine. The Best Poem/Song award went to Tony Pi for “A Hex, With Bees”, published in Wrestling With Gods: Tesseracts Eighteen, EDGE.
For 35 years the Aurora awards have been given out for Canadian literary and fan works that members of the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association (CSFFA) feel are exceptional. This year the awards ceremony was held in Toronto, Ontario on November 22nd in conjunction with SFContario 6. A total of eleven awards were given out.
